App Template by InfoLobby 1 table

Simple Lead Tracker is a lightweight CRM for founders and small sales teams. Track contact details, company, source, status, owner, follow-up date, and notes in one clean table. Keep leads moving from new to won or lost without the overhead of a full CRM.

A no-frills CRM for teams that need to track leads without learning Salesforce. One table, the fields you actually use, and a workflow you can adopt in five minutes.

What it's for

You have leads coming in from your website, referrals, trade shows, and outbound calls. You need to know who they are, where they're at in the pipeline, who owns them, and when to follow up next. That's it. This app does that — nothing more, nothing less.

Ideal for:

  • Founders running sales themselves
  • Small sales teams (1–10 reps) who find full CRMs overkill
  • Side projects, consultancies, agencies
  • Anyone graduating from a spreadsheet but not ready for a six-figure tool

What's inside

A single table with the fields that matter:

Field Purpose
Lead Name The person you're talking to
Company Name Where they work
Email Validated email format
Phone Free-form, international-friendly
Lead Source Website · Referral · Event · Cold Call · Other
Status New · Contacted · Qualified · Won · Lost
Owner The teammate responsible
Next Follow-up The date you owe them a reply
Notes Context, next steps, anything else

Color-coded select fields make the pipeline scannable at a glance.

How to use it

1. Add a lead

Click + New Record. Fill in name, company, and email at minimum. Set the source so you can later see which channels actually work. Status defaults to New.

2. Work the pipeline

Move leads through statuses as conversations progress:

  • New — just landed, not yet touched
  • Contacted — you've reached out
  • Qualified — there's a real opportunity here
  • Won — closed
  • Lost — no deal (and why, in Notes)

3. Never drop a follow-up

Always set Next Follow-up before closing a record. Filter or sort by that date and you have a daily call list. If it's blank, the lead is dead to you — fix it.

4. Assign ownership

Set Owner so it's clear who's driving the conversation. Filter by owner for one-on-ones and pipeline reviews.

5. Keep notes terse and dated

Notes is a free-text field. Write what was said, what's next, and the date. Future-you will thank present-you.

Get started in 60 seconds

  1. Install the app
  2. Add your first lead
  3. Set a follow-up date
  4. Come back tomorrow

That's the whole loop.
